Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-29. This is ShipAd.io's operating policy pending formal legal review.
1. Who we are
ShipAd.io is a product of Stone Fence Holdings LLC. We help founders test demand for new ideas and run ad campaigns for products they've already built — generating marketing assets, launching small paid-ad tests, and managing ongoing spend.
If you have a privacy question, email nathaniel.crowell12@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
We collect three categories of information.
Account information. Your email address, display name, and authentication identifiers. We use a third-party database and authentication provider to store this.
Billing information. When you subscribe to a paid tier or top up your ad-spend wallet, our payment processor collects and stores your payment details. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a payment token, your billing country, and the last four digits of your card from the processor.
Campaign content. The ideas you submit, the briefs generated about them, the ad copy and creative assets produced by our agents, and the performance data returned from advertising platforms you connect. This content is yours.
We also receive basic usage telemetry — pages visited, actions taken, errors encountered — to operate and improve the service.
3. What we do with it
We use your information to:
- Run the product: generate briefs, copy, creative, and campaigns.
- Bill you: process subscriptions and ad-spend top-ups.
- Reach you: send transactional email (receipts, campaign status, account notices).
- Improve the product: understand which features work and where users get stuck.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your campaign content to train general-purpose models.
4. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary data with a small set of sub-processors:
- A database and authentication provider that stores your account and campaign data.
- A payment processor that handles subscriptions and ad-spend billing.
- An advertising platform (or platforms you connect) that runs the ads you authorize.
- A market-research provider that supplies audience and competitor briefs used by our agents.
- AI image and video generation providers that produce ad creative from your inputs.
- An email delivery provider for transactional mail.
If we add, remove, or change sub-processors materially, we will update this list and note the change date above.
4a. Connected ad platforms
When you connect a Meta Ad Account or Google Ads account to ShipAd, you are authorizing us to act on your behalf within that account. Specifically, we:
- Read your ad-account metadata (account ID, currency, time zone) and your list of available Pages or accounts so you can pick which to use.
- Create campaigns, ad sets, and ads in the account you select, based on creative you have approved in ShipAd.
- Read performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, conversions) and show them in your dashboard.
- Stop all of the above when you disconnect the account.
We never access ad accounts you have not connected. We never combine your ad-platform data with another customer's. We never use your ad-platform data to train AI models. Our use of data from these platforms is governed by Meta's Platform Terms and Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.
5. Where it lives
Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by our sub-processors, primarily in the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., by using ShipAd you are consenting to your data being processed there.
6. Your rights
You can:
- Access your data — it's visible to you in the product.
- Export your ideas, briefs, and campaigns on request.
- Delete your account. We remove your account data within 30 days of a deletion request, except where we are legally required to retain records (e.g. tax and payment records). Step-by-step instructions live at /legal/data-deletion.
- Disconnect a connected ad platform without deleting your whole account. See /legal/data-deletion. We immediately revoke our access token and remove the stored ad-account ID and any cached metadata.
- Object to specific processing. Email us.
To exercise any of these rights, email nathaniel.crowell12@gmail.com. We respond within a reasonable time — typically under two weeks.
7. Cookies and tracking
Today, ShipAd.io only sets cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and remember your session.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them in the future, we will present a consent banner before setting any non-essential cookies.
8. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We limit employee access to production data to operational necessity. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach that affects your information, we will notify affected users without undue delay.
9. Children
ShipAd.io is not intended for users under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, email us and we'll remove it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
